Team training

We provide team training for a variety of different teams. This gives teams the chance to train together before they play fixtures on the weekend. Being able to train as a team helps to build strong relationships and team cohesion as well as developing skills and tactics to be used in competitive games.

Training is usually one hour long and involves a combination of technical skill based sessions, games for understanding and small sided games. We also liaise with the team managers to work on any areas for improvement highlighted from previous games. In addition are coaches attend a variety of matches on a Sunday morning which helps them to plan for future sessions based on their analysis of the games.

After School Clubs

We currently offer a variety of after school clubs, these generally run for a period of 5 - 10 weeks on a specific day. The clubs are 1 hour long and are designed to be fun and enjoyable, as well as working to develop children's technical skills and game sense. In addition, the clubs act as a great way to maintain a healthy lifestyle and encourage children to develop new social skills.

At the end of the every course we like to reward the children for their hard work and commitment. All children receive a medal for their participation, and on request we are happy to attend assemblies to hand out medals.

The clubs are all run by fully qualified coaches who are all DBS checked and have experience of working with children.

PE PPA Cover

Onside currently supply PE PPA cover for a number of primary schools. We use either qualified PE teachers or sports coaches to delivery quality PE lessons which are not only fun and engaging, but also endeavour to follow the national curriculum for PE.

Whether you need cover for one or two hours a week, or one or two days a week, we are able to manage the timetable to enable every session to be covered appropriately.

Our rates are very competitive and our staff very professional, giving your staff the opportunity to spend their PPA time constructively, knowing the children are in good hands.

Holiday Camps

Onside run football camps during all school holidays. Camps generally run from 10am - 3pm and are held at various locations. Our camps give children the chance to develop their technical and tactical ability in a fun and engaging environment. We run fun competitions throughout the week which give children the chance to win trophies which are presented at the end of the week. All children receive a medal for their participation and special awards are given for special achievements throughout the week.

 We welcome children of all abilities ranging from beginners to competent players, boys and girls, aged from 5 -  12 years old.

Saturday Morning Football Training Sessions

Onside run recreational training sessions on a Saturday morning. The sessions are aimed at any children who are interested in either joining a team or just looking to develop their skills and have fun. Children of any ability level aged 5 - 11 years old are welcome .

  9.00am - 10.00am: Age 5 - 8 years old                               10.15am - 11.15am: Age 9 - 11 years old

"One on One" Coaching Sessions

Onside also provide "one on one" coaching for individuals who want to improve a their technical ability, tactical awareness, or to improve their overall fitness for football.

These sessions are perfect for individuals just starting out and would like help to improve their technical ability and understanding of the game. In addition it is ideal for those players who want to improve and take their game to the next level.

We also offer "Football Fitness". This is where we work to improve the key components of fitness necessary to become an elite football player. Sessions will involve Speed, Agility and Quickness(SAQ) training, sprint endurance training, Strength and conditioning and more.
